Beautiful Mystery was the first gay "adult" film to come out of Japan. Although tame by U.S. standards, it is ground breaking nonetheless.

看著導演正兒八經滑稽戲仿三島由紀夫和他的組織還是挺有意思的。「左派講哲學，右派論感受」。一個精神至上，一個肉體至上，無他。觀看的過程中反倒讓我聯想起四方田犬彥關於大島渚的文章《狂人知道狂人》——「對「同志」的社會來說，最有危害的就是同性戀明顯化的瞬間」。
